1st Aspirations Founder Claudette Grant has worked in various fields throughout her career, utilising her organisational, networking and research skills throughout. In October 2000, she helped to set up and manage a family-run catering company. The events centered upon catering for meetings for the boroughs of Newham, Southwark and Thurrock, as well as local companies. Furthermore, the company also catered for large festivals such as Notting Hill and Leeds Carnivals, Glastonbury, and Party in the Park, to name but a few. Other events involved front of house management for weddings, parties and black-tie and funeral receptions.
In 2016, Claudette decided to use her experience within the wider community and follow her life purpose, combining her love of organising with the provision of services to faith-based organisations, charities, local companies and private individuals. It was at this pivotal time that 1st Aspirations was birthed in order to turn people's dream events into reality.
